A single touch moves the screen, a double touch clicks, and two finger pinches zoom the screen in and out. We're not graced with trackpad "gestures", but in all seriousness, we don't need them. Both allow Windows, Mac OS X and Linux users to remotely control their computer with ease and elegance.Īfter downloading your chosen free app (iPhone or iPad), users must then download a desktop application from TeamViewer's site, which initiates the connection between computer and iDevice, providing log-in information when the application is launched.įrom here, you simply open the app on your iPhone or iPad, type in the ID and password given by the desktop application, and then sit back and enjoy browsing through your computer on your portable iDevice.Ī variety of touch controls allow you to manipulate your computer exactly as you would if you had a mouse plugged into it.
